Dr. Ajeng Puspa Marlinda

Dr. Ajeng Puspa Marlinda obtained his bachelor and master's degree in international relations at Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY), Indonesia. As for her Ph.D, she earned it from the same university, in Islamic Politics - Political Science Department. She has expertise in Cultural Diplomacy, South Korea Studies, and Tourism Policy. She has served the section editor of the Journal of Islamic World and Politics (JIWP) at UMY and Indonesian Journal of Social Sciences, Policy, and Politics (IJSSPP) at Universitas Islam Riau (UIR). She wrote some articles and published in Scopus, such as The Role of Airlines in Promoting Halal Tourism (Sociología y tecnociencia (2023)); Halal Tourism as a Strategic Option for South Korean Tourism (Journal of Islamic Marketing (2022)); South Korea’s Halal Tourism Policy – The Primacy of Demographic Changes and Regional Diplomacy (Academic Journal of Interdisciplinary Studies (2021)); and The Influence of Artificial Intelligence to Support Halal Tourism Policy in South Korea (IOP Conference Series: Earth and Environmental Science (2020)). She once reviewed an article in Jurnal Hubungan International-JHI (2023) and Cogent Social Sciences (2023).
